In 1994 Russet Nelson was started as a joint venture between Russet Engineering Sales Limited and David Kircher. In 1998 an office was opened in Auckland and this was later formed into another joint venture company, Russet Auckland Limited, between Nigel Carrol and Russet Engineering Sales. Russet Engineering Sales Limited is also a partner in Vulcanising Services Limited in Christchurch.
