Recent Project – Stockton Upgrade
The Nelson branch recently won a contact to supply conveyor componentry for the Solid Energy Stockton Alliance CHPP plant at Stockton just north of Westport.
The project itself was worth in excess of $100 million and Russets Nelson played a significant part of this upgrade.
After months of discussion with the main contractor Brightwater Engineering we covered many product and pricing options to meet within the scope of supply.
- HDPE conveyor rollers and galvanised frames
- Lagging the conveyor drums using both Flexco ceramic and natural rubber diamond lagging
- Flexco stainless steel belt cleaners
- Hot vulcanise all conveyor belting on site
- Supply after sales conveyor servicing to Stockton Alliance
