Secondary Flexco Belt Cleaners

Rockline EZS2
This secondary cleaner improves cleaning efficiency and reduces routine maintenance tasks. And it does all this at an affordable price.

The EZS2 features patent-pending FormFlexTM cushions that automatically adjust the individual tension of each blade to the belt. Each individual cushion is independently tensioned so as the blade wears, the cushion continues to power the blade to the belt - regardless of the wear rate on adjoining blades.

The EZS2 works with Flexco mechanical splices. The metal blades are impact-resistant, and the spring cushion allows them to move away from a passing splice without damage and with minimal cleaning disruption. Combine the EZS2 with our Flexco VPTM fasteners for increased cleaner/fastener interface. The VP’s rubber-covered top plates are ideal for highly abrasive materials such as sand, gravel and crushed stone; and help to extend the life of your belt cleaner blade.

The EZS2 comes complete with everything you need for installation. Universal mounting brackets can be easily mounted on any conveyor structure. The versatile tensioner kit can be installed to either push-up or pull-up the cleaner to the belt depending on installation space constraints.

Maintenance is minimal. Long-wearing tungsten carbide blades typically last up to a year or more in many applications. The self-adjustment feature continually moves the blades to the belt as they wear. In many cases no blade retensioning maintenance is required throughout the life of the blades.

Eliminator P-Type
For applications where space is at a premium, the Elimi- nator P-Type belt cleaner is a compact, secondary cleaner delivering exceptional cleaning efficiency. Inde- pendently tensioned 6 (150mm) blades conform to the irregular contours of virtually any belt surface. That means constant blade-to-belt contact and superior long- term cleaning results with minimal adjustment or mainte- nance required. Plus the -Type offers a choice of three application-matched blades.

And for really tight space applications the P-Type LS is available. The PLS requires only 5-1/2 (138 mm) of vertical clearance for installation. In most cases that means it can be mounted inside the conveyor structure and protected from possible damage when the conveyor is being moved. The Select SetTM Tensioner also makes the PLS compact by providing two options for setting the cleaner blade tension: push-up tensioning from below the pole, or pull-up tensioning from above the pole. The PLS is a great partner for belt cleaning on telescoping conveyors, stacking conveyors, and other portable equipment that has conveyors.

Flexco Secondary Belt Cleaners
Eliminator R-Type
For superior cleaning in reversible belt applications, choose the Eliminator R-Type. It combines metal blades for superior cleaning performance with two-way cushions that accommodate reversing belts used on shuttle conveyors, conveyors that roll back, or in tripper and stacker applications.

Individually tensioned 6 (150mm) cleaning tips deliver constant, controlled blade-to-belt pressure for high-efficiency cleaning performance, Furthermore, the R-Type is suitable for use with Flexco mechanical belt splices. Shock-absorbing cushions support each cleaning tip. These cushions let splices pass by without damaging the splice or the tip.

The R-Type provides a choice of two blades. The C-Tip blades are constructed from impact resistant tungsten carbide that can be used on mechanically spliced or vulcanized belts. The V-Tip blades are constructed from extra-long wearing tungsten carbide and are for use on vulcanized belts only.

Eliminator Belle Banne U-Type
Our innovative secondary cleaner is unmatched for superior belt cleaning efficiency - especially in tough applications with wet, sticky carry-back materials. Also excellent for cupped conveyor belts and belts with worn centre sections.
The patented U-shaped blade conforms to the belt. The blades carbide tips scrape stubborn materials off the belt while the rubber backer “squeegees” wet materials. The dual-spring tensioner also maintains low, uniform blade pressure across the entire width of the belt. The combination of the U-shaped blade and offset pole intensifies cleaning power in the material-carrying centre of the belt.

A choice of two blades includes long-wearing tungsten carbide (safe for use with mechanical splices, provided splice is skived and any bolts are ground down) and an extended-life urethane blade.
